What a great weekend of hiking, food, and beer in Rocky Mountain National Park.

We hiked Moose Meadows, Estes lake, Lily Ridge Trail and Storm Pass.

I’m now at the HALF WAY POINT!!! Feeling good and going strong.

Day 1: Run 7 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.

Day 2: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.

Day 3: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.

One week down and five more to go! Here is my training for the week.

Day 1: Run 3 mins, walk 3 mins. Repeat 4 times.

Day 2: Run 3 mins, walk 3 mins. Repeat 4 times.

So I am going to use Runners’ World 5K training program.

It’s a three day a week training schedule.

Here is week 1.

Day 1: Run 1 min, walk 1 min. Repeat 10 times.

Day 2: Run 2 mins, walk 4 mins. Repeat 5 times.

Day 3:Run 2 mins, walk 4 mins. Repeat 5 times.

Training for this years Wild Workouts & Wellness Turkey Trot 5K has started. 7 weeks and ounting!

This weekstraining is two 1 mile run/walks with a 3 min run and 1 min walk.
