What a great day for a late afternoon hike on the Nordic Trail in the Southern Kettle Morain. We got to say hi to our old friend Walnut, accidentally stumbled upon a geocache, and stopped by East Troy Brewing for a beer to go.

With autumn is in the air Maxine & I headed out to the Nordic Trail in the Kettle Moraine for a day of hiking! We even stumbled across a Geocache.                                                  

A fun little nine mile hike with Maxine today on the Nordic Trail in the Southern unite of the Kettle Morain.

On Labor Day we went out the the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine to go hiking on the John Muir Trails. And yes we stopped at the Lagrange General Store for lunch!!!
