Tomorrow is the day my winter 5K running season kicks off with the Dea de Los Muertos Festival & 5K at Forest Home Cemetery. Witch is also the final resting spot for both of my parents. Come out and run, work or enjoy the party as we celebrate the people who are no longer with us.

Yesterday was my first DNF “did not finish” of the season. 2 hours out and 2 back. I didn’t have enough nutrition with me. And when I hit the 50 miles mark I had to phone a friend for a ride home. Thank to my wife for picking me up. And to top it off the battery on my bike computer died right before I did!

Sunday April 10 is the 20th annual WMSE Rockabilly Chili fundraiser. This is one of the best events in the city of Milwaukee.
