Maxine has been waiting since May for her Pelican Mustang Kayak and it came in today. Now for the ice to melt so she can get out on the lake. Look out summer 2021!!!

This past week made a COVID safe trip to Minocqua, WI. for three great days spent cross country skiing and hiking around Winter Park. And four nights cooking and playing board games in front of the fireplace!  

My buddy, Paul Block, just passed away – way too soon. One of the last conversations we had, in person, was at the Palomino in 2005ish. We were drinking beers and talking about tattoos. Yesterday day was our 13th annual Day After Thanksgiving Hike.

15 years ago today we went on our first date and I’ve never looked back!!!

What a great day for a late afternoon hike on the Nordic Trail in the Southern Kettle Morain. We got to say hi to our old friend Walnut, accidentally stumbled upon a geocache, and stopped by East Troy Brewing for a beer to go.

The Fight For Clean Air run is in the books. I ran up Wisconsin’s tallest building today. 47 fights of stairs to the top of the US BANK building in 12:40!!! Thanks to everyone donated.  

Maxine and I spent the day in the kitchen cleaning and cooking. And our broccoli & spinach lasagna was too good not to share photos of it!!!
