First day back on the bike after RAW!

An entire summer of training came down to one single ride; RAW, a 175 mile ride from Dubuque Iowa to Kenosha WI.
It was a long, hard day. Unfortunately I had to throw in the towel at mile 128.7 for health reasons. But those 128.7 miles are some of the most rewarding miles I have ever pedaled in my life! Keep moving forward.

Here’s a giant shout out to the Bike Fed of Wisconsin and Wheel & Sprocket for putting together one of the best organized and supporting rides I have ever participated in!

With only 3 days till RAW I’m starting to get pretty excited and nervous!!!

With only 4 day’s till RAW it time to spin out the legs on the Hank Aaron Trail.

Maxine and I went for a hike at Havenwoods State Forest! Havenwoods State Forest is one of the coolest hidden gems in Milwaukee!!!

Sometime you need to trade in your training day for bicycle tune up day. Only six days till RAW!!!

I spent the morning out at Pike Lake training for Ride Across Wisconsin!
And then stopped at Dr. Dawg for a Veggie Chicago dog before we went bike shopping for Maxine.

A little time and blood can go a long way. Donated blood today at the Blood Center of Wisconsin.
