With less than one month until the Fight For Air Climb, I took my training indoors. Today was the first time I ran straight up all 25 flights for steps of the Bay View Terrace.      

A quick stop at Red Eye Brewery in Wausau, WI. for a pint of ‘Merica Marzen and lunch on our way to Minocqua!

I’m super happy with my run in yesterday’s Wild Workout Turkey Trot 5K. I shaved 43 seconds off my PR from two years ago! Thank you to Runners’ World for the 5K training program!!!

It’s Race week and I think I’m ready! Day 1: Run 15 mins, walk 1 min. Repeat twice. Day 2: RACE DAY, Wild Workouts 5K Turkey Trot!!!!

Week number four is in the books and two weeks to go! Day 1: Run 9 mins, walk 1 min. Repeat 3 times. Day 2: Run 12 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat twice, then run for 5 mins. Day 3: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.

I’m on the back side of the hill and getting closer to race day! Day 1: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times. Day 2: Run 10 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat twice, then run for 5 mins. Day 3: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.

I’m now at the HALF WAY POINT!!! Feeling good and going strong. Day 1: Run 7 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times. Day 2: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times. Day 3: Run 8 mins, walk 2 mins. Repeat 3 times.
